Valley Museum – on the mountain hut

In Hüttschlag, a community inside Hohe Tauern National Park, a unique interactive exhibition has been created. The Valley Museum focuses on the cultural landscape, alpine pastures and mountain huts, and the forest inside the National Park. The exhibition, "On the Alm - Between Heaven and Earth," offers so many different things for children and adults to discover.

The Grafenberg gondola takes you to around 1,700 meters above sea level. Then, follow marked walking and hiking paths from one adventure station to the next. Start at Grafenberg Lake with a raft ride or at the suspension footbridge leading to a bee-themed path. Continue down the Hachau slide to a low-ropes course. The climbing stadium and a swing forest are next on your list.

Ferleiten Wildlife Park

Ferleiten Wildlife Park is home to over 200 animals native to the Alps. Located right on the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, just before the toll station, the wildlife park spans about 15 hectares. Various educational and display boards explain the flora and fauna of the Alps. The entire area is also accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
