You can travel to Grossarltal by bus and train. Once you are here, many starting points for hikes and excursion destinations can also be reached by public transport, hiking taxis and other mobility services.
Grossarltal is known for its large number of serviced mountain huts, a total of around 40 huts, which you can reach on around 400 km of marked hiking trails. In addition to the numerous mountain huts, you can also hike to many peaks or pictures mountain lakes.
