A glass of the finest brandy is a pleasure, even medicine, they say. Josef Taxer offers special brandy specialties at the Untergollegghof in Grossarl. By appointment, the distiller and brandy sommelier offers tastings directly at the farm. Sample fine brandies ranging from apple and pear to plum, stone pine, elderberry, rowanberry, and more.

The Grossarl Valley is known for its abundance of game. Red deer, chamois, and more can be found in the surrounding forests. Gut Draxler in Hüttschlag offers fine game meat. The meat can be purchased at Großarler Genuss.

The Jaitlehen and Klausberg farms offer meat and meat products from goats, pigs, sheep and cattle.

The Fish Factory in the Grossarl Valley
Here, fish live in species-appropriate shoals, enjoy natural water quality, and are fed the best food. All steps, from catching to processing to sale, are done entirely by hand.
Årla fish are available ready-to-cook, filleted, smoked, or pickled.
Our location: The fishing hut and its ponds are located directly on the bike path at the end of the Grossarl Valley in Hüttschlag.
