“Family Trekking” is a weekly package including 5 nights in the valley highlighting a 3-day, unguided tour from hut to hut along with 2 nights at mountain huts.

Experience the reawakening of Mother Nature in the Valley of Mountain Huts. Whilst summer already dominates the valley, up in the mountains you will find gentle harbingers of springtime surrounding the remaining patches of snow.

Alpine Summer Weeks

Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival is probably one of the most beautiful times of year to go hiking. The clear mountain air invites you to gaze in awe at the unique alpine vistas of the Hohe Tauern range. Harvest Festival is also the occasion for special events such as the Sheep Drive and country fairs.

Cycling & Mountain Biking

Around 160 km of cycle paths and mountain bike trails await you in Grossarltal. Bike up to a hut from where you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Hohe Tauern panorama.

Hiking Weekend

The ideal offer for your short hiking getaway. Hike across the alpine pastures of Grossarltal, recharging your batteries for your eventual return to daily life.

Active Holiday incl. Arrival

Enjoy the tranquility and nature of Grossarltal. Travel in total comfort to the Valley of Mountain Huts by bus or train. Hiking taxis and hiking buses will then take you to the best starting points for idyllic hikes.
