Away from the pistes as well, there's a lot to discover in Grossarltal during the winter months: 25 km of cross-country ski trails (classic and skating technique), ski touring, snowshoeing, winter hiking paths, and countless tobogganing opportunities.
BERG-GESUND offers guided ski tours, snowshoe hikes, “fit-for-the-mountains” winter hikes, and climbing. The tours are free for guests staying at BERG-GESUND member establishments.
You can also try your hand at Alpine-style curling (known as “ice stock”), tandem paragliding, or for a more relaxed experience, how about a horse-drawn sleigh ride or pure wellness indulgence. Even in winter, numerous excursion destinations around Grossarltal beckon.
