Ski amadé also emphasizes outstanding wining & dining experiences. That’s why many ski huts serve high-quality Austrian cuisine. After all, good skiing, food and drink are all that a body needs, right?!
Together with partner Austria Wine Marketing (“ÖWM”), the focus has been shifted to offering experiences that combine enjoyable skiing with excellent dining, including a chance to discover some truly exceptional wines. At area ski huts, you can sample delectable regional dishes along with an array of fine vintages. And all of this in a warm, relaxed atmosphere accompanied by amazing views of the pistes and mountains of Ski amadé. At all partner businesses, you will encounter wines destined to become your personal favorites, which you can then quietly enjoy as you sit out on the sunny terrace.
“Ski & Wine Week” is the highlight for all wine-loving skiers in Ski amadé, taking place from 16 to 23 March 2019. During this time, partner huts offer a great program revolving around Austrian wines and regional delicacies. That said, tastings of wines and local foods are just some of the highlights during our Ski & Wine Week. There is a real gold-digging mood at the Big-Bottle-Buddeln where you can win a brandnew Audi A1 Sportback, a real treasure of gold and 18 further prices.
TIP: Highest Farmer's Market in the Alps on the Gehwolfalm and Wengeralm.
20 ski huts and mountain restaurants are now “Ski & Wine” partners within the Ski amadé. They must meet stringent quality criteria in order to receive certification.
The criteria were established and put in place in cooperation with Austria Wine Marketing (“Österreich Wein Marketing GmbH”). Partner establishments display certification in their entrance areas.
