to the mountain huts in Grossarltal
Hikers can reach the mountain huts in Grossarltal in summer not only on foot. It is also possible to drive up to the mountain huts in your own car. Especially for those who are no longer able to walk so well or simply need a change from hiking, travelling to the mountain pasture in your own car is a welcome offer. This way, nobody is denied a cosy stop at the hut and the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. But which mountain hut in Grossarltal can be reached by car?
There are three huts in the Valley of the Mountain Huts that can be reached by car:
- Loosbühelalm
- Breitenebenalm
- Aualm
Good to know if you are travelling to the Alm by car:
- The parking spaces are just a few metres away from the huts.
- The path to the mountain huts is a gravelled forest road, which is usually only passable in one lane.
- On the way to the Aualm and Loosbühelalm you have to pay a small fee (approx. € 5.00) at the barrier to get to the hut.
