Hubalm elev. 1,311 m (1 h walk)

An ideal hiking destination for all ages and in any weather: the Hubalm at 1,311 m, in the “mountaineering village” of Hüttschlag. In around 1 hr. you can hike here either along the forestry lane or via the “Alter Hubalmweg”, which has recently been modernized.

If ever the sun is hidden behind the clouds, an old tile stove invites you to make yourself comfy in the dining room, where you can enjoy a wonderfully cozy atmosphere.

Their snacks consist of homemade organic products, with most of the milk produced by the cows here processed into butter and a variety of cheeses. And you won’t only find cows here: pigs, cats, goats and horses also get to spend their own summer holidays at the Hub-Grundalm.
