Breitenebenalm elev. 1,420 m (3/4 h walk)

An easy-to-reach hiking destination for everyone and in any weather: the Breitenebenalm at 1,420 m above sea level. There are a number of ways to get to the hut: on foot via the hiking path or forestry lane (ca. ¾ h from the car park), with your own car, by taxi or on a mountain bike.

You are greeted at this hut in Grossarltal by a big sunny terrace as well as rustic dining rooms. With a big children’s playground, animals to pet and a wildlife feeding station, your time spent at the hut will pass by in no time at all. This hut is especially popular for its homemade pastries including apple and cheese strudels as well as sweet rolls.

The Breitenebenalm also provides overnight accommodations in rustically furnished rooms with shower and WC.
