"Alte Wacht"

The "Alte Wacht" is located at the entrance to Grossarltal and is one of the last remaining toll stations in the province of Salzburg. Originally, the “Alte Wacht” served as a toll and export control station. It was built in 1566 in the course of the road construction into Grossarltal.
