In mid-March 2026, Grossarltal one again invites all sporty gourmets to enjoy sun skiing and culinary delights - a fusion of skiing and epicurean indulgence - in Ski amadé.
During the day, experience sun skiing on beautifully groomed pistes and visit the highest farmers' market in the Alps in Ski amadé. In the evening, indulge in local culinary delicacies and exquisite wines from Austrian vintners.
This week showcases the best of both the hotel industry and local agriculture in Grossarltal – especially the members of Genuss Region Grossarltal. They are certain to spoil you with an array of local and international specialties.
To make your ski day a real treat in every sense, selected ski huts, in close cooperation with local farmers, invite you to taste and enjoy at the highest farmers' market in the Alps in Ski amadé on select days. An exclusive gondola dinner above the rooftops of Grossarl aboard the new Kieserlbahn lift, with a welcome aperitif and wine pairings featuring select Ski-amadé vintages. Starting at 5:00 PM (additional cost € 169,00/person, including companion wines). The culinary highlights are provided by the kitchen teams from Hotel Nesslerhof, Hotel Das Edelweiss, and Hotel Moar Gut. Participation is limited.

The Weinroas takes place from 7:00 p.m.to midnight in Grossarl. Top Austrian winemakers pour out their finest wines at numerous Grossarl hotels. Travel by shuttle bus or stroll from hotel to hotel, enjoying small morsels paired with Austria's best wines. Some hotels will also feature live music. The "Wine Pass" is provided to you upon arrival and entitles you to free participation in the Weinroas including tastings. Non-package guests can purchase the Weinroas card from the Grossarltal Tourist Office or online at € 73.90. (Sale for 2026 starts only)

In the evening, the Gourmet Wine Gala takes place in a heated gala marquee with all participating winemakers serving their wines and a large wine bottle for tastings. Enjoy unique dishes made from regional ingredients produced in the Grossarltal culinary region, prepared by selected chefs from Grossarltal. Non-package guests can purchase tickets for the Grossarltal Tourist Office or online at € 59.90. (Sale for 2026 starts only)

The "Highest farmers' market in the Alps" in Ski amadé is an integral part of the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week. At impressive heights, the Laireiteralm and the new summit restaurant WOLKE7, together with local farmers and the two delicatessens "Grossarler Genuss" and "Troadkasten", will spoil you with delicious regional specialties from the Grossarl Valley.
Information on when exactly the Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps will take place at the selected ski huts will follow. You will then find the information in our events calendar.

Ski & wine enjoyment week is a weekly package with 7 nights in the desired category including a 6-day ski pass for Ski amadé. This offer can be booked directly with the accommodation providers in question from March 14 - 21, 2026. There is also a package for shorter stays, consisting of a minimum of 3 nights' accommodation, a 3-day ski pass, and participation in the program. Day tickets for the events are also available.
