Saukaralm
The Saukarlam is the highest hut in Grossarltal at 1,850 m. It stands at the foot of the Saukarkopf and can be reached in about 2 h. Mountain bikers welcome.

The views are unique – extending from the Hohe Tauern and Hochkönig, to the Tennen- and Hagengebirge ranges. Sunsets here are breathtaking. Hikers and mountain bikers are treated at the Saukaralm to a selection of regional favorites.

Here you can also borrow equipment for a via ferrata climb, then set out to conquer the “Bella Cascinaia”. This climb brings you to the top of the Saukarkopf and is rated D/E.
