Ski Bus
For all those unable to reach the bottom stations of the cable car on foot, and who don't want to use their car on holiday, the Grossarl Valley Cable Car Company offers a free ski bus service throughout the whole of the valley. The ski bus runs within the resorts at 15 or 7 minute intervals and outside of the resort centre to the south as far as the valley head and to the north to the Gollegg bus stop according to a fixed timetable 5x per half-day. You can of course also make use of the free ski bus in the Gastein Valley and explore the whole of the Gastein ski region. There is also a free ski bus service to neighbouring Alpendorf in St. Johann.
