How to get to the "Valley of the Alms"
By car:
Vienna / Munich - Salzburg - Tauern Motorway A10 approx. 50 km towards Villach, exit Bischofshofen, continue on to St. Johann/Pg. - from there along the local road to Grossarl (16 km) and another 8 km to Hüttschlag.

Nearest railway station is in St. Johann/Pg., onward journey with Postbus (with written booking confirmation "half price") or by taxi [ current timetable for the bustransfer into Grossarl Valley ]

Goal airport Salzburg (W. A. Mozart) www.salzburg-airport.com and telephone + 43 (0) 662 /8580,251, about 70 km of the Großarltal away. Please note the favorable tariffs of the "approve-airlines" that will fly out of Germany and many further countries of Europe repeatedly per week to Salzburg.
