Hühnerkaralm1,700 m (2 1/2 hours)
The Hühnerkaralm is a hiking destination located in the rear Hubalm Valley. It can be reached along the alpine path from the Hubalm in a walking time of approx. 1 1/2 hours. Once up at the mountain hut, hikers are spoiled by the owners with home-made delicacies such as cheese, bacon, bread and butter. Particularly popular is the circular walking path via the Hühnerkaralm to the Spielkogel (2,144 m, fantastic view of the snow-capped peaks of the Ankogelgruppe), carry on via the Aschlreitalm and the Hirschgrubenalm back to the start of the tour in Hüttschlag.
