Guided snowshoe hikes in Grossarl Valley
Enjoy the untouched nature far from all motorisation on a snowshoe hike. Similar to ski tours, there are certain rules to be observed. The right choice of route, the appropriate time of day, knowledge of weather conditions and snow depths and the behaviour of the terrain are essential basic aspects that one definitely must be aware of. You can learn everything under expert tuition at the local skiing schools in the valley, which also offer hikes for small groups with appropriate interest.

****NEW**** Guided skitours for beginners and enjoyers with the Grossarl-Hüttschlag mountain assosiation - also for non-members.
Every Thursday from 10th of January to the 28th of March 2013 from 10.15 am.
Meeting point is at the hiking info in Hüttschlag. Some condition is necessary, there are about 300 m of altitude to go, fees.
If the weather is bad the guided skitour doesn't take place.

Guided snowshoe hikes
Guided snowshoe hikes (incl. hire snowshoes) at the end of the Grossarl Valley in the Hohe Tauern National Park each Tuesday with the National Park ranger - with guest card free of charge.

Wednesday: You go up with the cable cars at 7.30am. Then you hike to the Kreuzkogel and further to the Fulseck. From here descent to the Arltörl and further to the middle-station of the cable cars. € 39,00 incl. guiding and snowshoes - the price for the cable cars is not included.
