Want to drive up to a mountain hut in your own car? You can indeed do that for the three huts listed below. Keep in mind that the roads are generally gravel forest roads and mostly single-lane.
When heading to the Aualm and Loosbühelalm, you will encounter a toll gate where you'll need to pay a small fee (around €5.00) to continue up to the hut. If you'd rather not drive there yourself, you might prefer to take a taxi to the top instead.
