“Almfeste” and “Musikantenroas” mountain music festivals in the Valley of the Alms

"Where people are singing, set yourself down for wicked folk have no songs" – as the old saying goes. And you will meet musicians everywhere in the Grossarl Valley: up on the mountain huts, underway while hiking, below in the village in the taverns and beer gardens...

The festivals take place on several weekends, with very differing music groups getting together to play.

A special tip for friends of real tradition is the "Musikantenroas" music concert in the Valley of the Alms on Sunday, 22.07.2012: where the whole market square at Grossarl is the stage for about 10 music groups.
