Walk from chapel to chapel through Grossarl Valley

Besides normal hiking you can also do something for your heart and soul if you walk the Chapel Trail as walking, it is said, frees the soul.

This path starts at the church in Grossarl. It takes you along the Chapel Trail in the direction of Hüttschlag. You pass the Laireiting Chapel, the Bichl Chapel, the Figler Chapel, the Griesbichl Chapel (will be built in the next years again), the Neuhof Chapel and the Schappach Chapel. Then the path leads to the church in Hüttschlag. Then you hike on to the Wolfau Chapel, the Karteis Chapel, the Maurach Chapel and the Hubertus Chapel. Finally, you reach the Pertill Chapel which was built in honour of the victims of the Second World War and in thanks for all those who returned.

At each of the chapels one of the Ten Commandments has been rephrased into a good thought, to take with you on your way.
