Sightseeing Excursions in Salzburg Province

Weekly sightseeing trips are offered in summer from Grossarltal to the most beautiful attractions & sights in Salzburg City & Province.

Trip to the Grossglockner

Trips to the Grossglockner depart every Wednesday at 9 a.m. You will drive up the most beautiful scenic road in Austria, first to the Edelweißspitze and then to the Franz-Josefs-Höhe. From there, you have marvelous views of Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner, and the Pasterze glacier before it.

Then, your journey continues to Heiligenblut, a famous pilgrimage destination, before finally returning to Grossarltal at around 6 p.m. The Grossglockner trip costs € 45.00 per person. May be subject to change due to weather. In the event of bad weather, the trip will take place on the first nice day after.
