The "Valley of Alpine Meadows"

The great number of alpine-meadow huts offering catering has also won Grossarl Valley the name of the “Valley of Alpine Meadows”.

Nowhere else in the province of Salzburg is there a valley in which alpine-meadow farming and cooperation with alpine-meadow farmers is so closely attuned to tourism as it is in Grossarl Valley.
